Smarty=Slipage what will fix it?

I tried the Smarty out today, pretty cool lots of smoke. The trans slipped pretty easily though even being really easy on it. The truck is completly stock power wise and never slips. Would a valve body keep it from slipping if I got the Smarty? Or is it way more than that?

What slipped? 1,2,3,4,lockup?

I put a SMR vb kit in mine. Works nice. It also upgrades the defects in the valvebody with the lock up

I never smashed it but in 3rd on level 9 I eased the pedal down and the engine rpms went up and the mph did not. I never really gave it full throttle because I was afraid It would break something. On number 6 it was controlable but 9 I could hardly touch the pedal without it slipping.

I had the same experience. Made an appointment with the shop for billet TC and kit the same day. It doesn't slip anymore though I have spent the last three weeks trying to get them to get everything right.

AA- I finally got my truck all back together. Hope that you liked the smarty, she was blowin some decent smoke. Like you said the #9 slippage for the amount of throttle that you were giving it wasn't cool. I'll give you a call when I'm free and can get over your way and let you take a spin in mine. You may give Dan a call at Dan's Automatic Transmission, he's located in Gas City. Don't have his number on me right now, he really did an awesome job on mine. Quick service, and good to deal with. Has a built up Duramax and does alot of work for Haisley Machine's customers. That's how I was put in contact with him. Haisley recommended him as they could get to my trans soon enough. I needed my trans done right before start of pulling season started. Hope your drive home wasn't to terrible. Talk to you later man. Jason

Yeah I cant thank you enough man. I think were actually going to hire some new guys at work so I can have some time off. I was thinking of a bd valve body and a billet torque converter from TCI. I dont know enough yet though. I have herd good and bad about TCI and people seem to prefer the DTT valve body but I havent even begun to resaerch it, plus winters coming
