smart/edge juice w/ attitude

hey hows it going. dont no to much about these diesels so i figured i would ask some experts. i am buying a 98.5 2500 cummins extended cab short bed with a 5 speed in it. it has an edje juice with attitude monitor in it and some 100 horse injectors. the guy said that the edge is pretty decent but it doesnt smoke much unless its turned all the way up. i was thinking about stacking a smarty with it. is this a good idea and what are some other things i could do to get it to smoke more. thanks a lot

no i dont just want it to smoke, but you no there is always sometimes when you wish that you could blow smoke all over someone riding your rear bumper. i guess i worded that post first. i meant do you think that the smarty and the edge would be a good stack together

I figured thats what you ment but then again you can never be to sure. I know exactly what your talkin about when saying some1 needing smoke blown all over them! Actually im not sure how they would stack together? I know people like the smart and the comp stack. So i dont see why it would be to bad. Maybe someone a little more knowledgable on this can chime in.

Build for power and the smoke will come. And even then keep it under control. We don't need anymore regulation...

I have both with some bigger injectors, Im not sure but I figure at least 100hp maybe more injectors. My truck will smoke some with smarty and juice off. Smarty on makes it smoke alot more, all settings. Juice will make it smoke even more. I usually run smarty on #2 and change Juice settings for whatever the situation is at the time. I can very easily smoke out a highway. I can literally cause a traffic jam, so if you want a smoker, please use cautiously!!
HX35 turbo is not nearly big enough. With Juice on 5x5 and WOT, my egts are actually LOWER than 3x5. I figure its dumping so much fuel that it "puts the fire out". As this is the same way it acts when I blow intercooler boots off.
So yes you have smoke with those 3 things. Make sure you set the max egt temp on your Juice or you will melt your pistons really really fast.

Going back to the smoking part. I have a 1981 Delta 88 I drive every day to work. That thing will smoke like carzy. I get 30 mile's to the gallon. Car wieght 5000 pounds when I went acrosst the scales. I hear the Jeep Liberty diesel, witch you can't purchace this yeardo to emissions, only get 24 mile's to the gallon. The thing can't wieght much more the 3000 to 3500 pounds. Why does the Jeep liberty do so much less work for the same amount of fuel??????

If you really want smoke remove the turbo! It'll work great on your honda while your truck will smoke like a son of a gun!

Juice w/Edge

Edge on Drive at level 8 on the smarty, Smokes like a MF when ever you lug the motor. For it not to smoke, you have to keep your RPM's up or I should say boost? Anyway, went from 14.5 to 17.5 on the MPG.

Great fun to smoke idiots, one in a convertible ferrari, LOL

Stock injectors and turbo - wonder if I should remove the waste gate. 2001 6speed 4X4

I have an 01 with the juice, smarty and some rv275's (only 40-50hp) auto trans and pdr hx35 turbo. I live at 6300' elev and can block out the sun if I have a mind too. It smokes more than I care for. I can control it by easing into the throttle but obviously there are times you cant ease into the throttle. Runs great, power is great, torque is great. The stack works great but realy more smoke than I care for.
