Slow Spool while towing heavy

Hey guys, I just picked up a new 24' gooseneck to replace my 16' bumper pull. My old setup was around 6500lbs(jeep/trailer) loaded for a weekend trip. This new trailer is 3500lbs, jeep is 4500lbs plus a camper at 1500lbs = 9500lbs. Off the line with the old setup I'd get a puff smoke and spool would pick up and go. The new setup I get alot more smoke and it seems like a good 5-10 second later before I get the spool to make her go. Once I'm rolling, things are fine. I'm running II Phat Shaft 62, 125hp Edge Jammers and Edge Juice. Do yall have a suggestion on what I could do to spool quicker? The truck runs very well empty, I'd just want some more off the line power to get the load rolling.

Thanks!
Rick

i recommend keeping the edge turned down to a low level, and dont just mash the pedal. Too much fuel at once will hurt the spool up, I recommend rolling into it slowly to get boost rather than jsut dumping the fuel, and waiting for the charger to catch up.

What he said, I'm in the same boat with ya. I keep the Edge off and try to be very light on the throttle.
