Slow Response

I got a 98 12V etc, #10 Plate now, not the #11. My throttle response seems slow. I have the Tst AFC spring kit and was wondering what will give me the best respose or most power, Softest spring and Afc loose as possible or Medium spring and a little tension. Smoke makes no difference to me, the more the better... Less people tailgating me.. Also my Egts never really rose much about 25 deg only. #11 vs. #10 is this normal ?

Re:Slow Response

Does it kinda hesitate then come on strong?
Also did you lose a little boost?
Of course if you were not very high to start with you may not see this.
If so you prob. need to adjust the gov. lever.
It's more of a prob on the 215 motors like you have.
If you want to get real tenichnal [ boy I'll get some arguments here ] you need to check and adjust it any time you change plates.
Some say it can't be done on the truck.
That it has to be done on a test stand.

BULL HOCKEY !!

I've done many of them including mine on the truck.

Good Luck !
