slotted rotors
Anyone running slotted rotors on their trucks? I was thinking about getting some as mine are worn and would need to be turned (if there's enough material still left) I'd like to get new pads/ss lines also

I've had cross drilled and slotted rotors on my pickup for 3 years now with no problems. A lot of people recommend against them sayin they don't hold up quite as well with our big trucks but I've been towin 10k off and on across country and haven't had any heat issues, abnormal wear, or anything abnormal.
I did just replace the pads for the first time since the new rotors and 3 years on those dogs seemed impressive to me. Only problem is you can't turn the rotors, at least from what I've been told. So if I do develop any warping I'm SOL. That would be my only complaint.
