Re:sirius satelite radio system
I did'nt do a Sirrus but rather an XM, but they are about the same other than the satellites they download from. As far as the install goes I installed a FM modulated unit and ran the antenna wires through the third brake light. I sanded down enough of the brake light to pass the wires through and still be able to get the light back in flush. After that the antenna sat on the rear of the truck cab above the third brake light via a magnetic base. Here are some pics of my install. I had to pull the headliner down toward the back to get it the wires through the third brake light. I used clear silicone on the top of the light hosing to ensure no water can get in. I've had it like this for 5 months and no problems. I hope that helps.

And the final product in the dash. I think I paid $150.00 bucks for the unit and the antenna, some close out sale circuit city was having. I purchased an RF modulator to make it work with my kenwood head unit. The sound is perfect no static. Next best thing to these trucks. ;D

keep an eye out there is a company that is making adapters that will plug into the factory radio where the cd changer would plug in and allow u to use addition devices like satelite radio. XM seem to be the way to go right now its cheaper and has more chanels. as far as an antenna goes they make then that will mount like a cell antenna on the glass. not sure about reception with them Crutchfield has a good selection u can brouse then check ur local car audio store for some actual feed back.

Dan

The 101st channel is playboy talk. NO JOKE. I have a friend who works at a stereo shop and told me about it. He says it's not worth the extra 3 bucks a month for that one station. Because if you add it your bill goes up to 12 something a month.
