silencer rings

Hey i got a buddy with a garrett turbo and he was wondering if the silencer on the turbo was removable; And if so what does it take to get it off.

I believe theres a "how to" section on the site also, with the info.
I know this info is for Holset turbo's, not sure about Garret's

it takes a screwdriver or two, and a little patience. it will come off easily, though, but i don't think it makes it that much louder

depends on the model of turbo... a lot of them don't have MWE style housings... and many that do, don't have silencer rings
