It's not unbearable inside the cab at all, or atleast i don't think. You can definetly hear the turbo spooling with a stock air filter and its atleast twice as loud with a BHAF. Very easy to remove too. Go for it!

do it. it doesn't hurt or help power. its easy enough to pull out, and just as easy to put back in. only thing you got to loose is 10 minutes of your time! i re-installed the snapring just cuz it would be one more thing to lose-find if i ever want to put it back on. i aint got my motor runnin yet but i got the fuel turned up and the ring out alredy! i can hear it now. and sometimes i sit in the truck and go vroom vroom while pushing the gas and rowing my "air shifter" i feel like a little kid again! lol

Thanks Forrest. Is there a site for outerwears? After my last hunting adventure in the mud of a plowed field trying to pull guys out, my air filter got covered in muddy water. Pretty much cut it's life in half...

I removed mine only to reinstall it after switching to BHAF. While I think the sound is cool, it's annoying on long trips, and putting it in isn't making me give up any performance.
