side mount tool boxes
I need to get stuff out of my cab and my tool box is full, i was thinking about a pair of the over the rail toolboxes that sit on the rail and wheelwell so they stick 6.5" above the rail
my question is does anyone have these and a gooseneck hitch,
i do not use my trailer much but don't want to spend an hour removing boxes and an hour putting them back each time i need the trailer

I would go with porkchop style boxes, that sit on the bed floor, and run up over the wheelwells. I have used them for years. Lower over the rail profile, lots of storage. Bottom access can be a pig, but they are available with sliding drawer access, from opening the tailgate.

that second one is a different setup, but might do what you need
