Hi guys I have a 2001 eth have a pmax3,mad ecm,And mach2 injecters in it ever since I installed the mach 2 s I have a shudder miss when under power 20 to 32 pounds of boost or so not as noticable when under full throttle makes it a pain in the but when pulling a trailer it does this wether the pmax is turned on or off enyone have this or have a idea where I should start ??? thanks

 

i had a miss on my truck when my VP was going out ~1.5 years ago. it was really really annoying and it got to the point where it would miss every 100 yards or so, could barely get to 45mph.

might wanna see if any codes are present with the key on/off on/off on trick...

 

also, im assuming you have gauges and that the fuel pressure looks good?

 

fuel presure is good 14 pounds or so its been doing it for over a year could i have a defective injector

 

anyone have this I dont know what to try next

have you tried taking the TST off of it? not turned off, but take it off the truck???

can you find a donor ECM to put it all back to stock and see if it still does it? itd be alot of work/time to reverse everything but in order to diagnose it, it would be helpful...

 

I had a similar problem. I never paid attention to boost but it was the worst from 2200rpm - 2600ish. Truck felt like the choke was on (best i can describe). Ended up being my MAP.
