Show Me Your Lights

I'm planning on replacing my stock 1996 headlights and was hoping for some fairly close up pics of how some of the after market ones fit. I was looking at these:

Ebay Two Piece Clear Lights

and these:

Ebay One Piece Headlights

The Sport lights are also a possibility but I know how they will fit and how they will look installed so I don't need any pics of them. Does anyone have pics of the headlights listed above installed on a truck? The pic is stolen from haloman's truck and it looks like the lights don't fit quite right. I'd like to order them as a Christmas present to myself but I don't want to get stuck with some poor fitting piece.

Thanks.

John

I'm looking at getting the aftermarket ones that puredieselpower sells. Don't know if they're any good or not though. They have a projector light in the middle with a "halo" around it (angel eyes).

Thanks very much. That was exactly the pics I was looking for. The single piece lights seem to fit a lot better than the set in the other picture. Great looking truck BTW, I like that color a lot.

bostiguy's are the same ones as mine just in a smoked color. Looking at the pics they fit the same also. Guess they would have to be side by side to truly know.

Ah I see the difference. I have a saggy front bumper and that shows more of the light housing

That's pretty funny because after posting my pics I noticed how low my front bumper was sitting. Oh well, it'll have to wait until spring to re-align....

As for my lights, I bought them from somebody on Ebay about a year ago. They are actually pretty crappy construction. I love the way they look but I had several issues with them. I didn't really look at them until a couple of months after I bought them, so I never considered returning them.
Just remember...you get what you pay for. In the long run I am fine with them but the day of installing I was a bit disappointed.

i bought the one peice clear ones from ebay with the halo ring. from the front on they fit great. from teh side there was a touch of a gap on the passenger side which i didn't like. i put a piaa h1 bulb in the projector (low beam) and a 9005 hid bulb in the high beam spot. light was amazing. but i hit a deer with them like less than a week after puting them in. so now i'm putting the sport headlights in.
