ok...here is my recipe so far.

thats been what ive been driving for about 50k miles so far. I layed down 380hp before i put the Hx-40 on there. DD3's and the edge made the EGTS skyrocket with the old turbo. Now, i dont tow much weight...about 5000lbs. but latley i have to watch my go pedal because unloaded i can get into high EGT's without much effort. Im sure i have a leaky *** induction system because my boost comes to a halt at about 28psi. So after i replace the intercooler boots and put a new air cleaner on there i was thinking of trying a 16cm non-wastgated housing. what can i expect besides a slower spool up? with this breath better at higher rpms?

im going to be tapping that wire when i get my leak sorted out. im not sure why the hell ive waited so long??!!

What housing do you have now? The 16 should be smaller, and make it spool faster.

Check your intercooler for leaks also

its a wastegated 14cm. housing.

It will spool a little slower, and flow a little more air. It should drop your EGT temps a little.

Drop your egts on the top end when your WOT, correct me if i'm wrong but it will raise your cruising egts?
