Question Should I buy this Holley Fuel Pump?

On a local grocery store classified board there is a guy selling a bunch of hot rod gasser parts. On there is a "Holley electric fuel pump". The picture looks like a typical Holley Blue that I've seen on DTR. The guy says it flows 120gph, comes with a regulator, some hose, and some fittings, and has never been used for $65 obo.
Does anyone know if there are specific pumps for gas -vs- diesel or will this one work as a pusher on my rig? Is the output (120gph) sufficient ? Any comments welcome ! Thanks

Yes, the blue pump provides sufficient flow and works with diesel fuel.

Do you feel lucky.....well, do ya? Some have had good luck with them....some have not, ME. Mine was rock steady at 14-15psi cruising until about a month ago, now I'm down to7psi at idle so I'm letting it sit until I upgrade. For $65 bucks why not give it a try, you might be lucky to get off cheap.

FWIW...I mounted mine in the stock location in conjuction with the Max Flow kit. You might move it back on the frame rail, I was worried about the winters that's why I opted for the stock location.

lol....well kinda lucky. I think I'll offer the guy $60 and put it on the inside of the frame rail with somekind of a shield around it....just for some coverage. But you're right J Dub....why not try it at that price. As long as it does'nt half-life my stock LP I'll be happy

Well I ended up buying that Holley pump....$40 !!! The P/N is 12-802 and doesn't appear to have ever been used. The regulator still has the factory dust caps in it, and there were 3 or 4 -6AN Aeroquip fittings in the box too.
I've got the plumbing figured out, but do you guys suggest using a relay to power this? I'm not sure on how best to do the electrical to make it run at the same time as the stock LP.
