shorth throw shifter?
I have to change my clutch and I thought this would be the time (if ever) to put in a short throw shifter. You guys that have them, is it worth it? I never thought I would want one, but I have been thinking about it lately. Do you like them or not? thanks, -Evan

I have been thinking about getting one for my NV5600 lately too. I hate the big gap between gears and how close the shifter is to the driver in 2nd and the passengers knees in 6th....
I am planning on doing the BD Short throw and Hurst SRT-10 shifter on mine.
I have heard several things about the short throw, some people seem to love it and wouldn't trade it for anything while other people seemed like they didn't like it at all...which is keeping me from buying one already. Don't really want to spend $250 and end up not liking it....be nice if somebody local had one I could try out.

I bought mine for the city driving and really like it. It feels more precise and I can shift without taking my forearm off the center console. I have had it for a year with no issues and a easy install also. It makes for a more relaxing ride for me in town.

Is your 6spd the NV5600 though? Is reverse in the upper right or lower left on the shifter?
Upper right = NV5600
Lower left = G56
I have heard several people saying they like it for DD, especially around town. Said they can shift with 3 fingers easily, it's more comfortable, and they can still rest their arm on the center console during shifting.
