I installed a 4.5 tuff country lift about 2 months ago and installed the tuff county sx8000 shocks when I did the kit. My truck now rides really rough.

Yes I had a 2 in front kit and 1.5 rear add a leaf and bilsteins yellow/blue shocks and the ride was great.

With the new kit, its front spacer and rear add a leaf (so I believe the shocks may be the biggest colprit) and it really change the ride quality, much rougher, stiffer.

Need feedback on others that have installed a similiar kit and what shocks work for a softest, best ride quality for this 4.5 lift. Those with these kits please pipe up with your experiences.

I tought it was because my skyjacker springs but it's because the shocks?

I have sx8000 shocks too and the front rides like the rear end now.

Your right best way to describe it is the front now rides like the back end....Anyone with this height lift change out shocks and have success with better ride please let me know.....

I have a tuff country 4in. lift that I just installed bilstein 5100's on. A much better ride then what was put on with the lift. Plus my back shocks were blown out so the 5100's made a big difference.
