Shocks and lift kits, looking for info
I need to get 2 or 3 inches on the front of my truck and 2 on the back. Looks like spacers are a cheap way to take care of the front, but I just bought a bunch of rancho RS9000X shocks and Id hate to have to replace them so soon. How far can you go on lift before you hit the limit of the shocks? On Rancho's page it looks like you cant, says zero lift. What about the rear? Longer blocks?
Ive got a thuren trackbar which is supposed to be good up to 3" of front lift and I dont like the idea of adding a weak bracket up front so I might stick with that.
When I have the funds I want to do it right and get a setup from thuren or kore, so cheep is good for now.

When I did a 2" lift on mine I had the solid steel 03 conversion trac bar setup from stock hight. That worked just right. I used spacers in the front and ad-a-leaf in the back. I did have to get longer shocks though. break lines and all were long enough for 2"
