Shock replacement?

99 2500 Ram. My truck has 60,000 miles and it's time to replace the shocks. I'm thinking Gabriel Gas Charged. The truck is set up for towiing with HD suspension. Any sugestions will appreciated. Mygila AKA My Mangum

Re:Shock replacement?

I would avoid the Gabriels. I would look at Rancho 9000s or Bilstiens.

Re:Shock replacement?

I agree with Ryan. Go with Ranchos or Bilstiens. I'm going to go with Bilstiens when I put the leveling kit on the front of my truck.

Re:Shock replacement?

Rancho 9000xs are the only way to go for adjustability. Love mine.

Re:Shock replacement?

I went with the Bilstiens. this weekend also went with the 8,000 lb shocks over the 7,200 lb. I like the fact that the truck droped it's jerking by about 50 % . Plus the life-time thing look good from autozone at 40,000 it will be a long time before I do this again (I hope). OverFueled
