shaker hood?
has anybody been creative enough to play around with a variation of the old shaker style scoop and make it work on our dodges.
Just currious bouncing ideas.
Thought it would be an interesting idea to mount an air box and scoop to the top of the valve covers. Then cut the hole in the hood for the bezel ring in the hood. If one could rig it up to be able to select and draw air from under the hood in cold/wet weather and then draw cold air from outside in all other conditions like the old Cuda shaker assembly itd be pretty cool not to mention another option for getting cold air and not having to cut the cowl keeping the noise down?

A couple of reasons
1: There is a huge flow of air pushing from the base of the windshild to the front of the hood.
2: Keeps most the birds and stuff out of the filter
Alot of GM cars of yesterday used the cowel induction hood.
