set me straight on Holley install
I'm looking at replacing my stock Lp with a Holley blue to run by itself. Now, I plan on mounting down by the tank. I believe I can just extend the wiring for the stock Lp to the Holley. Is that as simple as unplugging the wires at the stock Lp and using splices/connectors and more wire to reach the Holley? What is a relay, what does it do, do I need it? Then can I shorten the fuel line from the fuel tank to the stock lp, connect that to the holley intake and then use a longer fuel line right from the Holley outlet to my stock fuel filter? And finally I hear it's good to use a fairly large filter between the tank and Holley. Are there filters that just fit in the fuel line?
Thanks for the help, can you tell I'm a newbie?

Forget the holley and get a fass. A little more money but the install is quicker and easier than putting a blue inline. I wish Id bought the fass along time ago. Trust me the fass is alot better way to go.

I used a Holley Black on the frame, extended the wiring, and run the outlet directly to the fuel filter like you were thinking. Picture in my gallery. Mooseman, sounds like you had some bad luck. Hope I don't run into any problems like you must have, my setup is relatively new.
