Scotty II ???

Now that the warranty is over I’m thinking of installing the “Scotty II” air intake. I have the “Jakebrake” Exhaust brake already installed is there a conflict for space by using both of these together?
Also I’m running a K&N with the stock intake box . Should I see any increase in MPG?

I don't know about the Jake Brake, but I have the Pac brake mounted on the turbo elbow and it is no where near the Scotty II as far as being in the way. I really wouldn't look for MPG gains out of an air intake system unless your current set up is real restrictive. The importance of the air intake would be to help lower EGT's.

My main concern is where do you cut “the hole “. The Jake’s controls are mounted on the fire wall.

Not sure where your controls are mounted on the firewall, but there is very littel room for error when drilling the hole. The 4.5" hole saw that you will have to use only fits in one tight spot. If you get the Scotty, you can mock it up and you can see that the saw will fit in only one place. Even if you don't cut the hole right away, you can still use the intake system, giving you time to re-route the controls for the brake.

Have a look at step 3 and look at the photo - it shows where the 4.5" hole is drilled. I do recall others with the Jake saying that they DID have to relocate the controls for it when using the SA II.....look HERE
