Question Scotty Air II and Jacobs Exhaust Brake

I am looking at getting a SAII, but as I recall (I don't have my truck with me) the solinoid for the Jacobs Exhast Brake mounts right where you drill the hole for the SAII. Has anyone ran into this?

Yep.
You will either have to re-locate the solenoid or go without drilling the hole for the Scotty.
This is my current delima.

Rich.

Even if you go without drilling, the SAII still goes right up to the firewall dosent it?

The feedback I have from folks in the same situation was that they moved the solenoid inward.

Sorry, I forgot about this post for about a year and a half it looks like. Anyway I did have to move the solenoid inward but it all fits perfect and has been like this for 1 1/2 year with no problems.

I have the UNI foam in my Scotty II as well. I might try the Amsoil 4090. I think it will fit in the Scotty plastic. Do you know anyone with a 4090 that can try it in yours and make sure that it does/ does not fit?

Wow, I've thought about this topic before, but since I don't have tha SAII yet I've never posted about it.
Do you have any pics? Was all the plumbing/wiring for the Jacobs long enough to relocate?...I don't remember since it's been a while since I installed it.
