EASY! Pull the intake hose off the turbo, and you will see a snap ring. Take a small screw driver pry the end of the ring out. Pull the ring out, remove the silencer ring and install the intake hose. Easy as ONE, TWO, THREE! ;D

Just did mine the other night sounds sweet!

Re:Scielencer ring un install
My friend BigBlue took his out and when we were at his property he was on his way there and he stomped on it and held it. and his truck is straight pipe and all we heard from like 1/2-3/4 of mile away is his turbo just screaming. It sounded sweet! ;D We told him that all we heard was the turbo without the ring and no exhaust he didnt belive us at first.

unhook your turbo hose at the stock filter location. drive 1/4 mile with one WOT burst. go back home, reinstall turbo hose, then realize that you have to run out and get a k&n filter (not one that fits inside the stock airbox-leave it in the open) so you can hear the ear-piercing whistle from now on. ;D

Tom

yeah, my k&n gets dirty real quick. i finally put a ~ 1/4" thick piece of foam around it to keep it clean (which did take away from the sound).

the "dusty" part.....i wouldn't recommend it then. however, yes, drilling the holes will allow for more air to enter the box (not just that tiny stock hole) and will make the turbo sing very loud.

no silencer ring, and a k&n in the open with no foam around it-- my friends say it hurts their ears if they're driving ont he right side of me ;D

Tom
