Schied Laser Cuts and Twins.. a revisit...
As the title says..
Schied laser cuts and twins, WHAT A COMBINATION (when the twins light)!!! It is amazing the difference over the 181s that the lasers make. The only drawback is that the smoke levels are insane. Once the twins light tho, they clear it off fairly easy tho. My last dyno was at 450 with 181's im predicting at least a 20 horse gain with the full cuts. I dont have the stuttering to reach 60 psi boost problem anymore. They are a fun toy..
BUT in all honesty, i wouldnt recommend them for a towing truck. If i was constantly towing id either pull pack the plate, or go with a valet switch or even 181's again.. These things fuel and fuel hard... They do pick up the pyro much quicker...
WOuld i reccomend them? Not so much so if you tow, but if its a toy and dont mind alot of smoke then yes... They are managable if you drive sanely tho, it all comes down to self control..
This is probably just a repeat post tho, but for those of you contemplating laser cuts.. well now u have an opinion... thanks!
Hvae a good one guys

oh ya those laser cut dvs are crazy, after i installed my 435 injectors i had to pull them until i could do my timing, and they make a huge difference over the 181s, they smoke like mad until my turbo lights and even then i smoke at 50psi, need twins!

wow. maybe I should reconsider getting laser DV's untill a point when (if) I get twins. My truck smokes a whole lot now and I only have a 100 plate the stock 215's and 181's right now. I had to pull the ddp4's untill I put my head studs in.

I havnt blown the head gasket yet but I cant really afford to either. I'm hitting 40pounds of boost as is. I just wonder what lasercuts will do with mileage and i dont really need anymore smoke at this point.
