Scheid 97hp Lightning injectors?
My next step is going to be a set of injectors, and I haven't heard anything on these Schied injectors that everyone's telling me about. Supposedly they're a true 97 HP injector? How do these compare with the 275s (sp?) that everyone is talking about on the boards? I think Scheid gets $600? for a set? how do these 275s compare in price?

Conn,
For that kind of money you can get the Jammer (Edge products) nozzles and have them professionally installed on your injector bodies and save a chunk of money. Give us a call we stock and sell them all the time. If you do the nozzle install and have the test only performed at a shop you'll save even more. If you prefer we also stock the 275RV NEW Bosch injectors at a better price than was mentioned.

Another option is to consider that most hope to upgrade injectors only once. Trust me that never happens lol. With the ease in which even the most novice wrench can swap injectors, save yourself some money and do the swap yourself. Take that money you saved and invest in the best injector whatever that turns out to be based on your own research. Do a search for DonM's F1 EDM injectors you will find a consensus opinion that they are quality injectors due to many factors including their consistency, power, lower smoke & egts, compared to the competition.

Conn,
Depends they have 5 different stages I-IV that will top out at approx 150 HP, the Stage III is going to be the most comparable to the 97 HP you asked about. Strong but not terrible as far as low rpm smoke etc.

I dont care what brand you choose, but I allways recomend nozzles and do it yourself install on your own injectors. That is IF, your injectors are fairly low mileage. They are very very simple to install on the bodies, just work CLEAN. I was a geek and originally bought RV 275's thinking that would be enough (DUH !!!!) . I was bored in less than a week.... Bought +155HP stage 4 nozzles and put em on the RV 275 bodies and have been all
ever since !!!

I bought a set of Lightning injectors a while back. I plan on installing them when I upgrade the primary turbo next week. I wanted a bit more air before adding that much more fuel.
