sb dd install ?
Im putting in my new sb dd 3250# clutch and the instructions are pretty vague which is fine but i got a machined aluminum pice that looks like it bolts to the trasmittion arround the input shaft. is this supposed to go in or did they send a part by mistake for an input shaft upgrad kit.

The machined piece on my SB dd was a spacer for the starter.

98.5Hotrod is correct. Its the starter spacer.

yea i figured it out after the flywheel wouldnt go on. i think they just forgot put all of the instructions in the box
