I don't know about out your way but here in TN once it hits the salvage yard they won't sell the whole thing. Something about a salvage title and it's not fit for the road or some poo poo like that. I tried to buy a 1960 ford pickup and they said it was for parts only.....so I suppose if you bought it piece by piece that would work...but again, don't know if ya'll out there have the same crazy law.

In ky you have to know the salvage yard operator real well and promise it is for off road use only. I have 2 salvage yards that I buy complete vehicles from. I use several vehicles a year for demolition derbys and race cars. It is a real hassle trying to get a car from some other salvage yards.

THat would be amazing. DO you know about how much that would run....? I know it depends on mileage, condition, year and all that, but ball park would be nice.
Also, do you know if they deliver or would I need to pick it up?

Thank you so much!!!!

The biggest reason most wont sell it whole because if someones willing to pay $4,000 whole, you can bet theyll make $6,000 in parts.

Why would they want to make less money?

Great point....good for them....bad for me! I just hope I can get a wreck for about 3 or 4k. Possibly even a 3500, since I've been thinkin about converting mine to a 3500.....possibly an easy task if I get a complete wrecked 3500.
