sagging rear?

buddy of mine installed a 4.5 skyjacker lift. usually when you look at these trucks the front sits low. now the rear sags just enough to be noticable. why is this?

What all was replaced in the kit? All shocks/springs?

When the front is raised, theres more weight distribution thrown back on the rear.. most lift kits will raise the front more than the rear since the rear is already higher from the factory.

Usually the saggy bottom look only comes when you put weight in the bed or tow something.. but if its doing it with nothing in the bed chances are the rear shocks/and/or springs could be shot.. ??

Has it been like that since day 1 or just now noticing it?

That's interesting. Mine sits perfectly level and I've got the same lift. You might have a bad shock or something. Was anything harder to install in the rear than it shoulda been?

Not really a section for it, people post here a lot when they do somehting new... Jack and Larry don't like a cluttered up board with a lot of subforums. Thankfully.

Just throw a set of air bags on it, then you can adjust the rear height to whatever you want. Besides your gonna need them if you ever put any weight in the bed.

i wonder if it has to due with worn out rear springs. it was an add a leaf kit and but that means that the original springs stay right. well the truck use to tow a goosneck so maybe the rear is a bit worn out.
