s400 Exh. Housing Sizes

How does a s400 exh. housing size of 1.32 a/r equate out in cm2? Is it 20cm2 or what ? Is there a conversion to use that can tell you this?

You could convert it if you new the turbine major diameter. A/R is area/radius and just plug in the the radius of the turbine to find the area.

But you can't really compare that area to a Holset are because I have no idea WHERE holset measure the sectional area that they quote.

That calculates to roughly a 1.847 area (assuming inches)

In cm2, that's about 11.91Cm

That doesn't make sense. Are you quoting the inducer for the COMPRESSOR side? remember, you need TURBINE major diameter for A/R purposes, afaik.

Thanks. I thought that was about the size of a 1.3a/r. Does anyone else know the sizes of about a 1.01a/r & 1.14a/r in cm2?
