S&B air intake any good?
Thinking about ordering one for my truck. I don't see much feedback or talk about it on this site. Wondering if anyone has any experience w/ the s&b intake. Good, bad, otherwise? Thanks

Don't trust there web sight for photo I just spent 2hrs on the phone with them and they said they changed the design of there intakes and now have the whole side of the box cut out letting in hot air thus losing the cold air flow from the stock location. In short mine is on its way back and my money is returned to me. Guess I should have just bought a new lift pump just for in case of a emergency so now I will. On my OEM box i fixed the wholes that are from the factory and sealed the boot in the box better and put a new drop in filter for now an then I will either get the zillia OEM drop in or something else.

Hmm, interesting...I guess I'll keep looking then.
I like the idea of a box surrounding a cone filter for the "cold-air" effect, but their redesign sound kinda stupid.

Ya me too wich is why i bought it because it retained the use of the factory spot and it was a sealed box so the dust would stay out to some extent and i get this thing and the whole this is open like maybe 10x10 that thing would suck more dust than a OREK vaccum cleaner.

I will be trying out one of thier new filters as soon as it shows up in the mail. In the newest issue of Diesel Power Mag, they were running a specail, if you have a K&N intake, they were giving away free filters for that style of intake. It said that they were going to be doing other intakes in the following months. I figured why not try it if it is going to be free.
