RV 275's

I have a stock 02 24Valve with nothing but a straigh pipe and was wondering what these injectors would do for me....How much smoke, power, etc....I plan on running a Drag Comp in the future but might throw these on first..

Injectors will give you 40 hp-275's- and better mileage.
A little more smokw but controllable. A nice set-up.It shouldn't cause issues with a clutch or auto tranny. Any more power will.

I have an 01 with an EZ. Added the injectors three weeks ago. Definately made some improvements in the towing department. My trans is stock.

You may wish to consider some different injectors. Don M's Mach 1 injectors are quite affordable ($500, about half what his big injectors are).

They are cleaner than 275s and give even better mpg. They also make about 20hp more.

The proof is in the EGT. M1s and 275s will run almost the exact same EGT, but the M1s make about 20hp more. The word for that is: efficiency.

The M1s are very evenly balanced, and have much closer tolerance even than OEM Bosch injectors.

Get them from Bob Wagner or Rip Rook.

There's nothing wrong with 275s, but if you have a little more money, there are benefits to be had for sure!

jhood12,

You'll find a little off idle HP, but mostly you'll love them when you put a trailer behind it with the 275RV's. That's when the 275's shine. On a stock truck you'll get a little smoke if you wail on it from an idle but otherwise not too much. We sell a lot of them and folks that want a nice gain but don't want the expense of custom injectors love them etc.

If you are planning on a Drag Comp, you will be wasting your money with a set of 275s. I just put a Comp on 3 months ago, and I am waiting for bigger injectors. Course the turbo will need attention too.

Why would you want to run the stage 5 jammers on the 275's? just install the nozzles on your stockers have them cheked out (pop off pressures etc) and maybe flow tested tossem back in and have a good time.

From what I have found the differance between the 275's and stockers is the nozzles.

jhood12,

zukgod1 is right you would be spending good money after bad doing that, get the 275rv's or the Stage 5 Jammers. If you go for the Stage 5 make sure you have gauges, intake and exhaust though as the EGT's will be much higher than 275RV's will be. Call us if you want we'll be glad to help you with questions.

I ran 275's and my comp in EZ mode for almost a year and I never had a problem with EGT's with my stock turbo or with my tranny. I abused the truck every second I could and I never had a problem. They added a nice kick in the low range and the mileage went up 1-2mpg. I'm curious on those mach 1's though. I might be giving don a call.

the only reason I asked about the jammers and the rv275's is because of this post....

i run rv275 with stage 5 jammer nozzles and sometimes i wish they didnt smoke so bad... i mean seriously i have to look in the mirrors before stepping on it because it just pours pure black smoke out for like an 1/4 mile tell the boost gets up in the 50's then it starts to thin out... i dont know how many times i had people behind me and i step on it to hear someone slam on there brakes....plus when i was down in florida i had a camero behind me that i didnt know was a state trooper and i stepped on it to get around someone and he pulled me over and he was so at me and at me.. but he was forced to let me go because im not registered in florida and my inspection sticker in north carolina says my exhuast is legal so..... SOL MR. POLICEMAN......... but yeah he was he attentionally wasted my time to try to me off...... me and the wife were like oh well and turned on a dvd on the portable dvd player we had sitting in the truck.....i mean he wasted over 45 mins sitting in his car with my license and reg...... before coming back telling me that everything was legal and i was free to go.....

does anyone know where I could find those nozzles???
