RV 275 Injectors? Help?

I am looking at adding some rv 275's to my truck. My question is, where can I get some? I called my local cummins dealer and gave them the following part number-- 394418399. They said the number is to long ??? Does anyone have the correct number or a better place to obtain some? Also anyone that has run these injectors before had any trouble with them rasing egt's. I had a guy at a trade show today tell me that these injectors don't work well in the dodge pickups ???

Thanks.

check with any of the vendors from the links above. As for the guy that says they don't work well in Dodge probably owns a Ford. They work great especially conbined with a power chip.
Tim

The 275's will run the EGT higher, but that is not really much of a factor unless towing. If you use the 275's, you need to make airflow improvements such as exh system, boost increase (Turbo-Master) and air filter.
I would recommend going to a computer module before doing injectors as you can make nicer power over a wider range of rpm and without smoke (in most cases). Modules to consider are Edge E-Z, Edge Comp or TST Powermax.
If you want a simple, first step in power do the E-Z. You can use this without other mods if you like and it will run very well.
If you want bigger power and plan to do an exh and boost controller, use the Edge Comp or TST Powermax. You can always add injectors later if you should need even more suds.
check www.turbo-master.com for stuff

If you have a computer chip / box the RV 275's will make a noticeable difference and they will make you ;D. The only thing I would add to Dad's response is to talk to Rod at Wildcatdiesel.com. I have found him to be very knowledgeable, willing to share information and spend the time with you to be sure you get what you want - plus his prices are very competitive.

I think you will like the 275 injectors. Don't think you want to buy them from Cummins though. Several vendors will sell them much cheaper. I don't know if it's the winter fuel or the injectors but my fuel milage just dropped by about 3 or 4 mpg. Going to try it a little longer, really hate to swap back to the stock injectors. It's like a different truck with the new ones - really pulls great. Kenny

I was seriously debating on getting a set of 275's until my tranny started slipping. Now I'm debating on getting the injectors once I get the truck fixed and leave the comp off. What do yall think?

Think about this for a minute....how are you going to be able to leave the comp off when you have new injectors? The temptation will be too much.

Mike
