run in with small car, time to make my truck a semi.
I am trying to find a sport bumber replacement or just something cheap. I can afford a Ranch Hand or anything like that. I have been doing lots of research on the internet. I had a run in with a small car, and pushed the top of my bumper back like 2 inches. It seems just the supports are just bent. The intercooler and radiator are fine. Thank goodness for that. I am just looking for something chrome to make my truck look more Peterbuilt like. Any thoughts?

Hav'em for semis too (cow catchers):

Insurance companies up here give truckers discounts for running these bumpers.

If you like extremes you may want to look into
http://www.buckstop.biz/index.html
Any run-ins with compact cars will surely cause plenty of damage....but none to your rig! I saw a set on an F250 a little too over the top for me though!!

If the alum. bumpers are built right, they should be able to take a good whack.
I'm considering a bumper from http://www.southwestfabricators.com/...placements.htm

Denver Of Road
Beats the Ali-Arc hands down or is that deer down. The quality of the two are vastly different. The Ali-Arc is not well braced nor fully welded at the attachment points.

The ARB seems to fit the bill very well. I think it looks the best. Not to over the top. but still seem tough enough for whatever virgina wil throw at it. I can't wait to get back to Oregon where life and the people are better. Thanks fellas.

jfpointer, about how much does your bumper stick out in from on the truck. I have to drive around in alot of small parking lots. Does it stick out in front alot? I am curious. I really can't tell how much it sticks out in your pictures. BTW, nice looking truck.

Our horse vet sports a sw fabricators bumper on his TD. Looks SHARP and STOUT! I'll probably go that route for my wife's PSD.
