rubber floors??

Does anyone make rubber "carpet kit" for 94 CTD? I am going to purchase a new CTD and make my 94 just for work and would like to ditch the carpet and install some rubber floors....

Thanks.....

Thanks Soldier.....!!!

I found this: http://www.stockinteriors.com/UnivRu...33&ModelId=160

They have a "true" fit up to 93? But nothing for 94's..... Just a universal fit.. I have always like the old rubber flooring... Wash and go....!!!

Have you tried dealers, or interior shops? Both my truck, and my sisters came 98 came with the rubber floors.

dealer can get you the OEM stuff... for a single cab it's not too bad... couple hundred bucks maybe... for my truck it's like $500

still kicking myself for missing the end of an ebay auction where a rubber floor that would have fit my truck went for $40!

Be careful with rubber, it does not breathe. I had a 62 chev surburban 4x4 with rubber mats. Moisture seeped through the floorboards and door. By the time I found out the whole floor was rusted through. I guess that if you had small mats, that would work. Mine was a huge one piece that went from the drivers floor across to the passengers floor.

just get some spray in bed liner installed inside it won't rot the floor out and it will make it quiter inside as an added bonus

Geno's Garage carries some Husky Liners that may be what you're looking for.

sorry, but I seriously doubt it would be quieter than OEM sound deadener, jute mat, and rubber floor...

I totally agree with this statement. The rubber mats are great, but if you are the person who wheels up to a carwash and spray your floorboard, you might not be liking life after a few years.

I had and old Ford that had a rubber mat instead of carpet. If you looked at the mat it looked like it was in GREAT shape and still even had a little shine to it. Well I ended up redoing the interior and when I pulled the mat out the whole entire floor was brown and orange from rust.

Well come to find out, even though the rubber mat looked to be in good shape, there were tiny pin holes all over in the rubber which allowed the water to get under the mat and into the small padding on the back........which in turn rusted my floor. I ended up having to replace some of the floor which was rusted pretty bad.
