Well, let's kick this puppy back up to the top. As of Sunday, 29 Dec, 2pm PST (Pacific Standard Time), the Rod Pod and gauges are installed and functional. I don't know if that makes me first all the way through but I'll bet I'm first in the Pacific Northwest. Since I'm not fortunate enough to have a digital camera, I'll just have to use an old fashioned camera with roll film and all. Pictures to follow. Having assisted others in their installation of A Pillars, I think the Rod Pod is an easier installation. It took longer but then, it was a 4 gauge installation and this old body didn't fit into some of the wierd contortions required. Long time coming. Now, let the bombing begin.

~Dave

Certainly not the first, but I got my Rod's Pods last week and installed it Sunday. It went together well and looks great. ;D I really like having my EGT, boost and fuel pressure gauges at eye level. Thanks Rod!
Just hooked the boost guage, one of three in (Rods Pod). Fuel pressure, EGT and the boost. I have the Agate interior, and found that SEM color coat #15243 Satin Black is about as close to the bezil color as could be. It's a flexable coating for plastics, carpet and vinyal.

One point on installation of fuel pressure guage, mount it on the left side of the Pod, for clearance of the line and wiring going behind the H/AC control panel.

H-m-m-m-m. I have the Rod Pod and put the Fuel Pressure gauge to the far right (as you're looking out the window). I found that to be the only place it would go due to the inflexibility of the stainless line that feeds the meter. Hey, whatever works.

~Dave

Re:Rod's Pods are here, who will be first?
Question for all you guys that have installed fuel pressure gauges using SS line. I know that bending and installing the SS line can be a super PIA. Is there reason why you can't sub it for a high pressure flex line?
Reason for asking: I will be installing gauges soon and not sure yet wether my FP gauge will be electric of manual. The real reason: I am naturally lazy so want to avoid a lot of hard work. (You can't say I am not honest)

I got my Isspro Fuel Pressure guage and Stainless Steel Braided line from Wildcat diesel as a package deal.
I don't know of anyone actually using stainless tubing in an install. ???

Thanks. Maybe I was reading too finely between the lines from previous posts. Braided flex line makes sense.

Here's a link to a pic of my filter canister so you can see how the Stainless Braided hooks up.
I used a needle valve (open just enough to allow a correct pressure reading) to lessen the pulses to the guage to help eliminate the possibility of a buzz in the guage.
BTW this is hooked up Pre-Filter
