Road Armor Front bumper

Was going to order a road armor bumper off ebay. The place said they was out and it would be 2-6 weeks. DO you guys know any dealers that may have these in stock for a 1999 Dodge Ram? Thanks raybob_99@yahoo.com

I just made my own out of a front bumper for an '82 International Medium Duty truck.... Quite a bit heavier (3/16" vs 1/16") and fits/looks well. It was 15 1/2" too wide so I took 7 3/4" off each end and welded it back on parallel with the body. After that I put the stock bumper mounts on the frame and balanced the bumper on them and adjusted till it was center. Marked where everything was as far as up/down and side to side then welded the mounts to the bumper. Put it on, closed the hood, and adjusted it up as far as I could without interfering with the hood and tightened everything down. Also, painted it black because it was white and had some dings in the paint that had been feathered out with a Random Orbit sander (for quite awhile it looked like I had demo'ed my truck and won )

So in all I get the big rig look (I have a semi running light bar on the bottom) with added structural rigidity without all the cost... Was free other than my time, but could be easily procured at a local junk yard for next to nothing.

I should have some pics from before I put on the light bar... I'll see if I can at least find those. Heck I think my truck still had the single 4" stack in those pics too.

Try these guys, JD Distributing. Here' the link:

They are called Winch Ready bumpers, but look identical to Road Armor bumpers. I'm not sure but I've heard that one of the original partners of Road Armor split off on his own.
