I had to grind my drums to get a set of stock 01 wheels on my 96. Offset is different. Good luck.

stock alloys from an 02 won't fit on a 97, or 98. @ the tire shop i worked at we tried it and it was a "no go".

The only problem with 16.5 is that tires are lil more rare.
