Jeez I thought I was the only one who wanted an aftermarket rim with stock backspacing. The wider track width really makes it hard to find rims as I have found nothing either. I tried putting some 285/75/16 tires on 16x8 american racing rims with 4.5in backspacing and they look sooooo stupid. They stick half way out the fenders!!! The wheels/tires came off my chevy 1-ton single rear wheel pickup so I figured they would look the same on the dodge but no.

I was browsing the ultra wheel website and it looks like an ultra wheel type/style 46, part number 466881U is a 16x8 with a 5.25inch backspace. That would be pretty close wouldnt it? What is stock backspacing?

not sure what stock backspacing is just would be nice to keep the nice stainless fender trim without having to go to the bulky fender flares. you guys had any problems with the stock rims cracking?

Don't know what the first gen rims have but I know my 16x8 factory aluminum rims have 6.25" of backspace.
I personally like the wheels to stick out a little. I have fender flares and I will probably go with 4.25" backspacing to get what I want.
Without fender flares, I'd say the H2 rims with the 5.5"(I think) backspacing would look good.
They don't stick out on Chevys cause the stock rims are smaller look terrible with the tires sticking inside the fenders. Especially the back sticking in more. If I had a Chevy, I would use a wheel spacer in the back to even it out. My roommate' DMax looks terrible because of it.
