Ridiculous prices for fuel plates!

Does ANYONE know of a source for reasonably priced #10 plates, or even a stock plate I could grind? Over 200 bucks for something that simple is absurd! I can't grind MY plate to #10 because it's already ground to #100.

They used to be $30 on ebay but even they realized they could charge more, they're now $80 and come with a boost elbow.
Do a ebay search for Cummins fuel plate and you'll find many.
Quality is just as good as the $200 ones.

Thanks; just bought one on eBay for $70. Had searched eBay motors yesterday and couldn't find one for less than $200 !

I paid like $18 with an elbow 3 years ago. I still have the stock plate when I decide to grind my own one day.

That $18 for a plate and elbow has inflated to $70 in Obama dollars.

if anyone can direct link me to a thread that precisely explains how the fuel plate works, and what the different grind patterns will do to performance I would be grateful, meanwhile ill keep searching.
