Rhino lining color

I am taking my truck in to get it rhino lined next week and was wondering what color you guys think I should go with. I am going to do the bed, over the bed rails, and on the rocker panels. My truck is white so am thinking either black or gray, other suggestions are appreciated though.

I have a silver truck, and the black over-the-rails Linex really sets it off. I think black color liners are the only way to go. It's just such a good contrast in color................

Two reasons I am considering gray. 1, due to the fact of the front bumper. If you recall the bottom half is gray. 2, check out this picture of my white 1st gen that was done with gray, not a real clear picture but you get the idea. I wish I knew how to post the pic on here but I dont so here is a link. Maybe an admin. could be kind enough to do this for me? https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...0&ppuser=25413

They recommended against any colors (I wanted gray to match the truck) when I had mine done. It was something like $175.00 more and they said they hadn't had the best success with colorfastness.

That being said, if it weren't for the installer acting like I was better off with black, I would have dropped the extra look without thinking twice.

One a white truck......? Nah.

I voted other because I'm a big fan of the color match bed liners with the UV protectant. This may be a mistake, but I just had my white truck done with a white bedliner. The shop guaranteed the color wouldn't yellow. If it does, then they will go back to a black.

I forgot to add. I've had two trucks that were beige and I had them color matched. They looked great the whole time I had them! The first time I drove up to see the first truck when they called it was ready, I was furious that I came clear across town and they hadn't done a thing. I had to get within about 20 feet to see that they were finished and it matched that perfectly.

in between ending my hardwood bus in ct and starting one here i sold cars for about a couple of years. i am chrysler certified and i sold gms as well i sold 2 trucks where guys used linex through me and i talked them into color match one was blue and the other was red they looked incredible . it does not cost more the 50 bucks to color match or you getting robbed go somewhere else. i would go with white or a light grey . mine will be done in driftwood maybe a shade darker. my 2 cents yada yada yada

Floorman, I hear what you are saying. It's entirely possible that the shop who did mine didn't feel like color matching for me, thus the high quote and vote of no confidence.

My brother lives in Garner, I've been there twice to visit, nice little place.

I'm hoping to do the same thing soon. I was thinking about going with gray on the rockers and black in the bed and over the rails. My truck is white also, and I think the gray will look like some of the two-tone trucks that have the gray rockers. Be sure and load up some pics when you get yours done.

My nieghbor had a white truck with grey rhino liner in the bed and on the rails. It looked pretty good i thought. Go with whatever you want to see everyday.

Im takin my truck in next month to have some work done to my doors the driver ones are rusting on the bottom, then im having the entire truck sprayed with speedliner. Not shure on a color yet, im thinkin dark blue or dark green. I cant wait to see how much it will cost tho .

How my truck used to look.

White with gray rhino on the rockers.

Make sure this is something you REALLY want to do, because its alot more expensive to tear off, fix the rust, and re paint than it is to fix rock chips.

I had black in the green 2001 V-10 2500 I traded in for my current truck. I hated it. The color faded to a blotchy charcoal/gray liner, with some parts torn up. Either the previous owner had a poor vendor do the lining, or the material was terrible. I think I may try Line-X with this truck, but I need to fix a bunch of dings, first. I also am not sure about the rails for my 5vr hitch.
