rhino lining around wheel wells

I'm running 35" bfg muddterrains on my truck and the inner lip that goes around my fender wells is gettin tore up real bad.... but nothing on the sides for some reason. I was thinking of gettin that inner lip and about an inch above rhino lined in flat black or color matched btw my truck is silver. Has anyone done this or saw a truck like this .... I'm just trying to get opinions on if it's going to look dumb or not

I've been told that the color match just looks like normal paint with texture and isn't notciable unless your close... but i've never seen it in person.

I've seen trucks that have color matched rhino on the rocker panels.
Can't really tell till you get close enough to touch it.

I'd say fender flares, but since you already have damage, you'd have a rust problem.

Go for it.

No, '02s didn't have them. They're light a few other things, too. Hood blanket, vanity lights on visors, rear cupholders on Quadcabs, probably some other stuff I can't think of right now. You can buy the liners at the dealer, though. A few people have bought them and put them on. If I'd known they weren't going to be there, I'd have grabbed them off the '98 I traded in before I let the dealer have it...

Check this out, I started putting this on my frame, and it still looks good. When I overhaul the flat bed, I plan on using it.

See my photo gallery. I have black Line-X on my rockerpanels. I like it allot. No more paint chipping, and dings from rocks.
