Rhino Liner or Line-X?

i'm in a pickle here. i wanna get the rocker panels done first (the bed later) with a spray on bedliner. i researched both of the brand's websites and they both sound great. but what ya'll think? any preferences? why or why not?

For me, the choice was clear: LINE-X. Nationwide recognition of the lifetime warranty, no "scabbing" the repairs when they are needed. Not as course as the Rhino and much more fade resistant. $510.00 including the bedrails which they can do like mine or down a little more (I don't like the look of most of the Rhinos I see way over the rail).
Take a look here, it don't get much cleaner............

Now, don't take my word for it..... Read those 80 threads!

I skipped through a few myself before I decided. Honestly, besides the lack of negative reviews, I thought I was going to get a color matched liner. The guy at the shop that did it talked me out of it over the phone before I even dropped the truck off. He claimed that they would do it, for an additional $150, but they had to admit that they felt they technology wasn't quite there yet. He said it would fade at a much quicker rate than the black.
I took his word for it.

I have rhino in one truck and line-x in another. In short I hate the rhino. It chips, after a few years it's slippery. If the rhino is wet you have to hold on to the bed rails so you dont fall. I've got a few chips but cant get them fixed because the dealer that did it is out of buisness. The lines seems to be holding up much better. Doesn't have any chips, but if it happened I wouldn't have to worry about it because any line-x dealer would fix it.

I agree with 95RAM, my Rhino was a waste of money. If you have a truck that you attempt to keep clean DO NOT GET RHINO, it is sooooo hard to keep clean and it faded very quickly, in one season.

One vote for Line-X

My Line-X is about 3 years old and looks like new. Bed to the rail tops and full rockers up to the first crease line in the body cost almost $700. I love the rockers, looks like a two tone paint on a drift wood truck and no stone chips.

Just my 2 cents...skip them both...I did herculiner in my bed looks and works great 130$ and 4 hrs of my time...I may suffer long term durability but we'll see in the long term for now I love it...

I've had both... and prefer the Line-X also... in the bed.
I keep hearing about water seepage on rocker panels. Not sure I'd do them.

My dad has Line-X and man that stuff is tough.

He has had it in 3 trucks in the last 5 years and not one problem yet.

But I've seen Line-X that looked like crap and peeled and I've seen rhino that looked like crap and peeled, a lot of it is the shop that does the job.

The only thing I like about rhino is that it color matchs really good and it can be cleared so it matched the shine of truck better for rocker panels. My buddy has cleared rhino rocker panels on his chevy and it looks great. He has had a year now and it has been through alot (38X15.50X15 baja claws on a 15X14 rim) and it hasn't chiped once.I've never seen clears line-x and to me line-x would be much harder to clean than rhino because line-x is some much more grippy and you have to pressure wash the mud out, I know cause I used to have to do it all the time.

Like I said find a shop, rhino and line-x both. Then look at some of the trucks that have done and how good they prep the truck, thats what makes a good liner.

I have the Line X and it does pretty good. I have numerous tears in it and I beleive it to be a function of a poor install than the product. It doesn't appear that they sanded the bed real well before they sprayed in the liner material.

I haven't been around Line X but I'm happy with my Rhino lining

Box and rockers are done

Both seem to be holding up well

Snowmobile with carbides goes in the back a bunch and doesn't even bother the rhino lining

Thats the only thing thats real hard on it.
