Oh, if it's too loud in the cab & you don't want to muffle it, straight out the back fixes it. Ck my pictures.

You don't really say what is the noise that is bothering you. There are a couple of fix's if we know more info. You could wrap the exaust pipe from the downturn past the cab or maybe re-install the resanator. be a little more specific for a more detailed answer.

The noise out of the tailpipe is the most bothersome. It has a drone up to about 1600 rpms and after about 1850 rpms, that I also don't like. Overall I just don't like the noise level for having to listen to it all day. I really don't care what it sounds like out side of the cab, I just don't want to hear it. Sound proofing the entire cab just to have a straight pipe is out of the question for my budget.

Hey perk, I am of the same opinion. I recently straight piped mine, all was well unitil a small load was pulled and got the drone , so I wraped the exhaust back to behind cab with some header wrap, pulled the small load and was tolerable. Then just this week took a very heavy, heavy load for a distance of 1000 miles one way for the first time since the small load, and man oh man it was a killer drone so I have installed a Magnaflow just slightly to the rear of the factory cat and muffler was originally and it is back to normal again, hope this will help. I also understand that on the 24v's that if you put just the resonator back on it helps some. Goodluck,, Rick
