Reflashing?
Hey everyone, im fairly sure my pcm is bad on my transmission.
The dealership says i have to get it reflashed after i install the new one.
so is there anyway to get upgraded/more/better performance out of the pcm? if so who/where can i get/take it? Thanks

Sorry, i ment better performance from my transmission. didn't quite word that right.
Although i belive the pcm does contol some engine functions, such as tach, oil pressure and i think somthing else i cant recall, none of which effect the good ol 12V's performance tho!
Mainly curious if the pcm can be tweaked to change shift points or any other trans functions. sorry for the poor wording, thanks for reply

You'd have to get a valvebody if you want to change shift points and get better performance from the tranny. What you're asking does make some sense, but I've never heard of anyone reflashing the pcm for better performance.
