Reason FP guage isn't working

Well, I finally discovered why my fp gauge wasn't working. I took off the 18" fuel line that goes between my schrader valve and the isolater and a little white plasticky piece, all mangled up. The fuel line is from Geno's garage. The little white piece I believe is what pushes the plunger in the schrader down. i've emailed Geno's but wanted to know if someone else here had had this happen. It's clear that I likely tightened the connector too much on the schrader (live and learn) but I dont believe that there were any warnings.

I have the same 18" hose from Genos, all brass, no plastic.

Interesting.....
When I look in the threaded end that connects to the schrader, there's nothing in there to open hte valve now. Not sure of the what or why of this..

Just remove the core and put the fitting back on.

Eric, do you use a regular valve stem core removal tool to remove the Schrader Valve core?
