Real world mileage gain from doing manual hub conversion?

"The Ram Man" has a new conversion kit. Looks pretty simple, but wanted to see if any of you guys have experience with it.

Real world mileage? In all my years (starting in the early 70's) driving 4X4's of different kinds, I have never seen any difference in fuel mileage front end engaged or disengaged. Weather it be hubs or CAD, no difference. A long time ago I just started leaving my front axle engaged. It cut down on wear and tear on the CV joint, drive shaft, and the differential in general.

Yeah, I noticed he didn't mention the spline shaft, whether a 30 or 35, and I did not know it was a sealed bearing. He claims you can grease them through a grease fitting, so what gives?

I talk to a local guy regularly about our trucks, he has the dynatrac. Says maybe a mile or two..but his truck has almost 200K on it and various other goodies.
He noted steering feel as the best benefit, says it steers a lot easier without hubs locked in....
