RDS Aux. Trans. Tank Install Kit
I'm looking at installing a RDS aux fuel tank/ tool box combo using the optional install kit from RDS.
I want to know if anyone's used this kit and if it'll work with my fass setup. I am NEW with this and don't know anything about them and want to make sure I don't end up sending unfiltered diesel to my engine. The kit says that it connects to the fill hose. I did not install my fass system so I don't know how its set up.

I wouldn't install it, no matter what they say there will be a possibility of overfilling your main tank and spilling fuel on the ground.
Best thing is a couple 3 way valves with the aux tank having its own draw and return line.

Don't forget a valve for the return on the FASS pump. This is the reason I went with an on demand pump (Fass DDRP) relocated to the frame. I have an aux. tank that I can switch to on the go, but I didn't want to add more valves. Can't be drawing fuel from one tank and returning fuel (from the Fass) to another.
