Is it necessary to run a filter between tank and raptor pump (pre filter). thanks to all.

I run a NAPA Gold 3270 inline screen between my hpfp 95 pump and tank. Keeps the big stuff out of the pump.

I am planning on running a fuel filter and fuel/water sperator before my raptors and air dog, but I would say no for normal street driven trucks, i ran one raptor for 2 years now with no filter before it and have had no issues.
