Raptor 100 on my 98.5...

I just bought a 98.5 24v/5spd and have been watching the old fuel pressure gauge for a few days. I noticed I was running around 4-5psi cruising down the road and about 8-9psi idling. So I figured it be a good idea to upgrade the in-tank lift pump.

So today I ordered a Raptor 100 system for a truck with an in-tank lift pump, as it had been converted after the previous owner put a new injection pump on. I ordered it from Thoroughbred Diesel and was looking at the intructions online and it states nothing about a truck with an in-tank pump.

Surely I have to remove the in-tank pump, but does anyone know does the kit come with the parts I need to make it work after pump removal? I am sure it does since it list the kits as with or without, but I just want to make sure I don't need to order something else to make it work!

Thanks,
Mac

no you dont need to drop the tank on a 100 only 150 and up all you need to do is remove the stock lift hose from the top of the tank when you under the truck looking at the top of the tank you will see a white cap with 2 hoses a air bleeder and your electricale pluge for your fuel level gauge the hose closer to the front of the cab is the return line the hose towards the back is the draw straw that is the one that you will be pluging the new lines to. the easiest way to take it off is take neddle nose plyers squeze the two blue tabs and pull the line off (it will be tight but it is posible) plug the new line into it and to the pump then to your vp44. i dont know if that helps with easing the thought of droping the tank. and good luck
