Ran on the dyno this weekend
I got a few runs in this Saturday at Danville diesel. I pretty much got what I expected with the turbo I am curently running.
452hp 960tq tst 9
455hp 960tq tst 6
394hp 824tq tst 0
I was really suprised how flat the hp curve was, almost completly flat from 2500 to 3500 rpm. Can't wait to get a real turbo on it and see what it can do.

That's a really good dyno run! I bet with a hybrid turbo that EGTs were more than just a wee bit toasty.
IMO-- flatness in a dyno curve is only good on the tq side, not the HP. HP should be be steadily climbing to a point where it just falls off a cliff.
What that tells me is that you've completely maxed out the air capabilitiy of your turbo. Your turbo is essentially maxed out at only 2200rpm. While this is no doubt a lot of fun on the street, you have probably 100hp or more hiding in this truck that will come out with a larger turbocharger.
When I say larger, I'm talking the turbine side primarily, since that it a bigger limiter proportionally than the compressor on the hybrid turbo you now have.
An HTT ss62/13/71 would spool a hair later, but would make a ton more power, imo.
The 16 housing will spool 200-300rpm later, but give you another 20-40hp up top-- just my personal guess.

My egts are def toasty with the TST on anything more than 2. With it completely off the pyro just gets to 1200 on a hard run. When I have it cranked the pyro needle moves almost as fast as the tach.
Yea the tst defuels hard to 3400. Its funny they call this their rpm unlimited tune. Oh well I don't need to go any higher til I get some tigher valve springs.
I figured my exhaust side would be the restriction on this turbo. I was looking for a 14cm wg housing to get me buy for now but couldn't find one in time for the dyno. I'm actually wanting to go with one of II's silver series with the 74mm turbine wheel. Still not sure what size to go with on the compressor size.
I have a video of the run too. Keep an eye on the kid holding the tube on my exhaust, kinda felt sorry for him, lol
