Ran a 12.48 @ 109mph on Saturday
Some already know about my 12.48 and 12.49 runs but Stephan Kondolay informed me about a picture of my truck so I thought I'd post it. I thought it was pretty cool to get mentioned along with a bunch of 8sec. cars. Also on the page is a picture of Bill Kondolay in the Wolf Pack Camero.

Very impressive, IdahoCTD!! I've haven't been to a diesel drag race yet, going to Martin (Michigan) Dragway on July 19 for a DHRA Division 3 event. Do you guys run in 4WD off the line, for traction?

DeWain

Rob/Ol Blue,

I was going to strip a few things off the truck for the races on Sunday but it got rained out so that never happened. The spare tire, tailgate, sub box, and rear seat were going to be my lightening effort to try and reach 11 seconds ;D

DeWain,

Yes I run in 4wd the whole length of track.

You'll need to shave about 800 pounds to break the 11's at the same power level according to my calculations.

I dont know exactly but I think it is closer to 7100 right now. I know I can easily lose 3-400lbs and I know it will run faster than I did in Canada. I was only leaving with around 18psi of boost. It was a whole new tranny so I was trying to get a feel for it. I also installed a lockup switch on Sunday in hopes to run again later that day but the rain prevented that. My new output shaft should hold 30+psi launches. I dont know if the intermediate will though. I really just need more time behind the wheel to work on my launches. I have only made a total of 11 passes on a drag strip ever so I'm still learning. I probably could also use some traction bars.
60' was 1.877, 330' was 5.221, 1/8th was 7.99 @ 88mph
Hopefully the lockup switch will help my dyno numbers as well. Up til now I have been running up to 70mph (1900rpms) and flogging it. My last dyno run I only made 62psi of boost but I made 79psi on the track (622hp)
Kat,
I dont know if kicking it out of 4wd will help on my truck without the front axle disconnect. It's a late '02 model. I will give it a go to see if it helps though.
Nathan
P.S. No rolls bars for this truck. Once I get kicked out I'll work on a real race truck. Something pushing low 9's to 8's ;D

Good job on the passes Nathan, I was looking at old time slips of mine and your within 1 to 2 MPH of me and I'm at 6400 lbs so your power is right up there, now your ET's and can't match nor can I do a dang 18 psi launch...10-12 max! The lock switch in high gear will net you some too but more with me as I have a loose converter.....keep us posted.

Jim
